World Gin Day with Fentimens

July 10, 2019 by Clare Leave a Comment

We are massive gin fans over here but at the minute it’s just Mr E who can enjoy the gin. Won’t be long until I’m sipping a nice gin and tonic alongside him tho.

We do love a good gin in the house but sometimes there’s no tonic or lime and more often or not we end up not having one. The folks over at Fentimans have it all sorted tho.

Fentimans Botanically Brewed Beverages is a family owned and run business started in 1905 by Thomas Fentiman and is the only brewer in the UK to use the time-honoured process of botanical brewing to produce natural, full flavoured beverages. Their  mixer range comprises seven drinks, and there are nine soft drinks plus a selection of pre-mixed alcoholic beverages and the craft beer, Hollows and Fentimans Alcoholic Ginger Beer and Alcoholic Spiced Ginger Beer. Recently Fentimans was named as the UK’s number one soft drinks brand in The Guild of Fine Food’s Best Brands Survey 2016-17.

Adding to their range they now have a selection of pre-mixed gin and tonic added to their range. Working with Bloom Gin they have paired their tonic and also rose lemonade to bring out the best flavours in the gin. To find out where you can get your hands on them, check out your nearest stockist on their  Drink Supermarket page.

Mr E cracked into a bottle of each and said it was one of the best pre-mixed gin and tonic he’s had. He liked how the Fentimens mixers brought out the floral tones in Bloom and the fact you didn’t have to worry about having tonic in the house was another bonus.

We both reckoned they were pretty handy to have in the fridge for those impromptu sunny days and also a great for a picnic without having to take too many bottles with you. Off course only the non-alcoholic beverages should be consumed by the designated driver.
