Murrayfield Hotel Edinburgh are hosting their Spring Open Day on Sunday 12th April and will play host to a fantastic selection of high quality stalls. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet suppliers and local greats and not to mention some excellent shopping opportunity.

Featuring:

Annabels Cakes – Annabel is a local to the Murrayfield area and has just launched her business supplying top quality cakes to various small businesses and retail customers.

Zoete Koek – Jonathon and his partner create handmade Belgian chocolates, waffles and pancakes and has experience of markets already with his stall in Waverly Stations’ platform 2 market and various other projects

The Breadwinner Bakery – known throughout Edinburgh for top quality artisan bread products and award winning stramboli, they have recently brought their products to the high street doing a deal that now sees them in local Co-ops.

The Murrayfield also launch their exciting new menu this April. Featuring tasty seasoned Whitebait with lightly curried sauce gribiche and Roast Rump of Borders Lamb with Broad Bean Carrot & Green Bean Cassoulet, Dauphine Potato & Lamb Sauce.

Throughout the day their very own Bracia band will be playing some great tunes to keep you entertained throughout the afternoon.

If that wasn’t quiet enough they’ve transformed The Doocot into a Mad Hatters Tea Party with arts and crafts to keep the kids occupied. There will be a chocolate fountain, arts and crafts, make your own hat competition and much more! What’s even better is they believe fun should be free, so they won’t be charging a penny for the kids activities. and we’ve heard there will also be a FREE bouncy castle in the courtyard (dont worry, if it rains we’ll try squeeze it into our house) .In the Forrester expect to find a quirky afternoon tea with a cocktail!

Experience a great Sunday out at the Murrayfield Hotel and House
