This March, Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh is amplifying International Women’s Month through an exciting collaboration with global superstar Shakira. The month-long celebration features a series of women-led performances, a special Shakira-inspired menu, and a charitable initiative supporting women’s empowerment.
Live Performances by Local Female Artists
As part of Hard Rock’s global celebration, the Edinburgh cafe will showcase live performances by four talented local female artists:

Bethany Nicholson – 7th March: Known for her soulful voice and captivating stage presence, Bethany brings a unique blend of pop and indie influences.

Rue Cooper – 14th March: Rue’s dynamic performances and powerful vocals have made her a rising star in Edinburgh’s music scene.

Jasmin Jet – 21st March: Awarded ‘Scottish Young Musicians Best Vocalist’ in 2022, Jasmin’s electrifying performances are not to be missed.

Megan Toni – 28th March: Megan’s heartfelt lyrics and melodic tunes have garnered her a dedicated local following.

Shakira-Inspired Menu
In collaboration with Shakira, Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh has curated a limited-time menu featuring some of her favourite dishes:

Colombian Smash Burger: A delectable burger topped with American cheese, shaved lettuce, tomato, Legendary Sauce, and crispy potato crisps, reflecting Shakira’s Colombian roots.

Chicken Fattoush Salad: Grilled chicken breast served over a bed of mixed greens, fattoush vegetables, and flatbread croutons, dressed with a blend of Caesar and red wine vinaigrette, honouring Shakira’s Lebanese heritage.

“Hips Don’t Lie” Margarita: A refreshing cocktail combining silver tequila, elderflower liqueur, muddled strawberries, and cucumbers.
Supporting Women’s Empowerment
A portion of the proceeds from International Women’s Month sales will benefit the Pies Descalzos Foundation, Shakira’s non-profit organisation dedicated to educating girls in Colombia. Additionally, the Hard Rock Heals Foundation is contributing $250,000 to further support this cause.
