Independent distiller Eden Mill is excited to bring its premium gins and single malts to the world-famous Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews through two immersive experiences.
Just a seven-minute walk from their soon-to-be completed distillery, “Eden Mill at the Old Course Hotel” is now open to the public. Visitors can enjoy two unique experiences: a Coastal Gin Flight and the Eden Mill Single Malt Flight.
Located on the fourth floor of the iconic hotel, these gin and whisky tastings take place in a private room opposite the Road Hole Bar, overlooking the 17th green of the Old Course. Each session includes a welcome drink, an educational showcase of each spirit, and a chance to sample the range. Expert brand ambassadors will also share the Eden Mill story and details about the new distillery opening nearby.
Coastal Gin Flight – £28
This gin experience gives an immersive taste of the St Andrews coastline. It celebrates local botanicals and Eden Mill perfect serves. Exploring how each gin takes inspiration from the iconic coastline, how it influenced the brand’s origin story and learning about key coastal botanicals.
You can explore the three core products of Eden Mill’s – a Original Gin and Mediterranean Tonic before tasting the Original Gin neat and then the Love Gin, followed by the Golf Gin. You then select your favourite gin and the host will help create a ‘perfect serve’ to complement and enhance the gins flavour profile.
Eden Mill Single Malt Flight – £40
This is built for whisky lovers. It introduces Eden Mill’s premium whiskies. It starts with a whisky highball using The Guard Bridge Blended Malt Scotch and ginger ale. The tasting includes the Bourbon and Sherry flagship Single Malts, an unreleased mystery dram from the distiller’s blending room and finally the 2023 Art of St Andrews hero expression which is matured in ex Cognac casks.
