Edinburgh’s beloved Italian restaurant, Divino Enoteca, is starting 2025 with a fresh approach to the classic wine bar experience. Known for its exceptional Italian cuisine and outstanding wine selection, Divino has just unveiled a major upgrade that will delight wine lovers across the city.
In partnership with EnoDirect UK, Divino now boasts state-of-the-art wine dispensers from the prestigious Enomatic® Roma series, providing customers with the opportunity to enjoy a truly interactive wine experience. These high-tech dispensers use world-leading wine preservation technology, allowing guests to sample a selection of rare and fine wines by the glass, preserving the taste, aroma, and quality of each pour. It’s an innovative touch that brings a new level of excitement to wine enthusiasts, making it the only place in Edinburgh to offer this unique experience.
A New Way to Enjoy Wine at Divino Enoteca
The new Enomatic® Roma series dispensers feature 16 premium wines available by the glass in three different pour sizes: 175ml, 125ml, and an intimate 25ml tasting glass. But that’s not all — Divino has also incorporated the Coravin system, which allows them to serve an additional eight wines by the glass without removing the cork, ensuring each wine maintains its freshness.
What’s more, the interactive experience allows guests to explore and sample different wines in smaller pours before committing to a full glass. This not only makes the wine selection more approachable, but it also gives customers the chance to taste wines they may have never considered before. Whether you’re a connoisseur or a newcomer to the world of fine wine, Divino’s new setup provides something for everyone.

Introducing “The Eno Experience”
To celebrate the new wine dispensers, Divino has introduced The Eno Experience. For just £35, guests will receive a personal ENO card loaded with a £35 wine credit for the dispensers, allowing them to explore a curated selection of fine wines at their leisure. The experience is complemented by a complimentary antipasto board, featuring a selection of the finest Italian cheeses and charcuterie — the perfect pairing to the wines you’ll be sampling.
Free Wine Tastings & Special Monthly Menus
In addition to the innovative wine dispensers, Divino is welcoming the new year with a series of complimentary wine tastings, focused on Italy’s rich winemaking heritage. Kicking off the event series is “Blends”, an exploration of the complexities of blended wines, paired with exquisite canapé-style dishes from Chef Andrea Calistro. These free wine tastings are set to take place on February 2nd and 16th at 5 pm, and while free, booking is recommended to ensure a spot.
But that’s not all — Divino is also introducing monthly four-course tasting menus for £65 per person. February’s menu takes inspiration from the Northeast of Italy, offering rich, warm, and intense flavours, including dishes like Risotto with Merlot and Radicchio and Confit Duck Leg with Buttery Potatoes. Add wine pairings for an additional £35, and you’ve got the perfect evening to indulge in Italy’s finest culinary traditions.
