Every now and again Mr E and I are partial to a good bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk. There is great debate about which one is the best and also if you like Cadbury Dairy Milk Whole Nut why do you not like Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut? Usually what we do is agree to disagree and end up buying a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel. Did you know that Cadbury Dairy Milk is dubbed the nation’s favourite chocolate, it is a firm favourite with many having been around for over 100 years and now they’re looking to make things interesting and doing something they have never done before. They are inviting the general public to ‘go madbury for Cadbury’ this month.
Cadbury is giving everyone the chance to create their perfect bar. With over 90,000 possible combinations of ingredients to choose from, you can submit up to three flavours and put yourself in the running to be one of three finalists whose creations will be sold in stores and put to a nationwide vote. The winning bar will become the latest and most exciting addition to the iconic Cadbury Dairy Milk range as a limited edition bar.
Would orange, shortbread and cinnamon be a winner for you?
From 1st July to 31st July you can choose your dream ingredients and put them into a chocolate bar. The ingredients you can choose from range from sprinkles, to spicy chili and spearmint tea. You can enter the Cadbury Inventor Competition and read more about the possible ingredients here.
So what happens if your one of the lucky three to be chosen? Once the competition has closed and if your one of the lucky ones you will have the opportunity to visit Bournville, the home of Cadbury, where you will work with their own chocolate experts to experiment with your creations and make your dream bar a reality. All three bars will be available to purchase from June 2019, when the whole of the UK and Republic of Ireland will be able to vote for their favourite, and crown one creation the ultimate winner. The winning bar will then be available to buy in supermarkets for a minimum of 12 months, and the winning Cadbury Inventor will receive a year’s supply of their delicious creation! (T&C’s apply for further information please check their website).
Is Oreo, fudge and raspberry another winning combination?
What would we choose? Well our perfect combination would be sea salt, honeycomb and chilli. A little bit of what I like being the honeycomb, we both love sea salt and Mr E likes a little bit of chilli. We’re hoping that all the flavours balance each other out, fingers crossed. What would be your ideal flavour combination? If you enter let us know below what you choose and why.
Good luck!
