Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and that is why breakfast at Qupi, Leith Walk, is a winner!
We love this little place. Each time you go in, new bits and pieces have been added to the mixed collection of furniture and hats they seem to collect. It’s a friendly place to spend a Sunday morning, which is what we did when we couldn’t be bothered to cook.
Qupi is the only Greek coffee shop in Edinburgh and it is a little treasure.
Having been here a few times, we knew that the English Breakfast is the way to go. For your money you get 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, beans, mushrooms, 2 bits of black pudding and an egg. All served with an insane amount of toast. Unfortunately we tucked in and were halfway through before we realised we should have taken pictures. The food is all grilled and tastes lovely.
The cooked breakfast was washed down with a huge mug of tea and coffee.
Qupi can be found at the bottom of Leith Walk. They offer a wide range of breakfast items and also are open for lunch. They often do specials such as baguettes filled with chirzo, chicken, salad and lots of other yummy things.
Having been here for breakfast a few times now, we’ll definitely be back for lunch and a big slice of the homemade chocolate cake.
