Marbella is a wonderful destination to visit when on holiday and it is becoming increasingly popular. It is so easy to see why with so many different things to do.
We have put together a list of the best things to do in Marbella for holidaymakers. Whether you are holidaying alone, as a couple, family or a group of friends, there is certainly something for everyone. Make sure you choose Holiday Rentals Marbella that are local to the best places so you don’t have to travel too far either!
Take A Boat Out
Marbella is known for having wonderful boat parties but have you ever considered the possibility of taking a boat out? The party lifestyle might not be for you but a trip out on a boat may be exactly what you need. You can easily charter a yacht for you and some friends for a few hours with a professional on board so you don’t need to worry about having sailing experience! This is a wonderful way to see the city from the sea.
Take In Some Culture
If like me you like history and arts and all things culture, then you need to make sure you take in some of the culture available in the city. Do you know of the world renowned artist Salvador Dali? The city has a space with bronze statues designed by him that are really worth checking out. There are also many wonderful museums for those who enjoy spending time in them.
The Ralli museum is a popular one – it is the only one located in Europe and actually has some more of Dali’s sculptures as well as art by other renowned painters and artists.
Head To The Beach
With such stunning beaches in the city, you really do need to take some time to take them in for yourself. Every local or traveller has their particular favourite but it is up to you to discover your favourite for yourself!
One of my particular favourites has to be the Playa de Nagüeles – it is a little more peaceful than the others and is absolutely stunning!
Visit The Old Town
If there is anything that both locals and tourists agree on, it is that you should visit the old town if in the city. It has plenty of charm and is often quite quiet with many holidaymakers heading straight to the beach. As well as looking beautiful, there are plenty of eateries and wonderful boutique shops that may take your fancy.
Walk The Golden Mile
Have you ever heard of the Golden Mile? There is a reason many people choose to walk it. It is a simply beautiful coastline walk with stunning views and plenty to do along the way. Enjoy food at an eatery along the coastline with a variety of cuisines available.
These are just a few things that you can do when holidaying in Marbella. What would you try first? If you have been to Marbella before, what was your favourite thing to do?
